Privacy
Miki Sings is published by Autodidasker Pty Ltd. This page describes the app and this website separately.
There is no Miki Sings account to create. You may give a local saved game any label you choose; personal details are not required to play. The app does not require your name, email address, location, contacts, photos or other personal details, and your singing is not sent to us.
The microphone
Miki Sings uses the microphone because listening to your singing is fundamental to how the game works.
Your voice is analysed inside the app so Miki can respond to your pitch while you sing. In one part of the game, Miki also records your singing so that you can listen back to your own performance.
A recording of the latest song performance is retained in the app’s storage on your device for playback and is replaced when another performance recording is saved. Temporary recordings may also be created during play. These recordings are not uploaded, shared, used for advertising or sent to Miki Sings.
Microphone access is required to play Miki Sings. If microphone access is turned off, the app will explain that it needs microphone permission before gameplay can continue.
Personal information
The app keeps gameplay progress and named game saves locally on your device. The release analytics provider does not transmit gameplay events. Voice recordings are not uploaded and there is no online user profile.
There are no user profiles and no advertising based on your activity.
Children
Miki Sings is designed for children as well as adults. Children are not asked to provide personal details in order to play.
This website
The Miki Sings website uses Google Analytics to help us understand how people use the site and whether it is working as intended. Google Analytics can use cookies and browser identifiers for measurement. Your browser sends technical information, including its IP address, when it connects to website services.
This includes information such as which pages are visited, how visitors move through the site, which links are used, how far pages are scrolled and general measures of time spent on the site. We use this information to improve the website and understand which parts are useful to visitors.
We have configured our analytics not to use Google advertising personalisation or Google Signals.
Website analytics are completely separate from the Miki Sings app. They do not include microphone audio, recordings or information about your singing.
Contacting us
If you use our contact form, we receive the email address and message you provide so that we can respond to you. The form is processed using Amazon Web Services and delivered by email. We use that information only to deal with your enquiry.
The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help distinguish people from automated abuse. Cloudflare processes technical information needed to provide that check. Our server also sends your IP address to Cloudflare for verification. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy and Google Analytics data safeguards for service-provider information.
Changes
If the way Miki Sings handles information changes, we will update this page to explain the change clearly.
